On July 24^th, 2010, “Hiking on China Remnant Great Wall” organized by China Great Wall Society, China Great Wall International Hiking Club,and Beijing Sports Broadcasting Station FM102.5 was held in Beijing suburban district.

Led by China Great Wall International Hiking Club, hiker team set off in the morning to Badaling Great Wall. Hikers were very happy, attracted by not only stories about the Great Wall, but also the original Great Wall magnificence. The eastern dragon on the mountain, the Great Wall reminded everyone’s memory of history.

In the afternoon, hiker team started for Kangzhuang Wild Duck Lake. In the National Wetland Preserve, every hiker experienced the natural beauty of wild scene.

This hiking activity enabled every hiker feel the charm of the Great Wall which embodied the wisdom of ancient people and amazing scene of wetland which interpreted the importance of climate. Many hikers expressed their decision to protect the heritage sites and nature.
